ODE

A premium audio brand, built end to end. Two products, one idea, the driver-O identity, and a launch campaign on a single line. Your mix. Heard everywhere. Lost nowhere.

ODE is a premium audio brand I invented around one insight: musicians obsess over a mix that most people will hear on hardware the artist never touched. The brand closes that gap with two products on one signal path. ODE One, the reference over-ear where the mix gets made, and ODE Go, the everywhere earbud where it gets heard.

The identity is one move done thoroughly. The O of the quiet caps wordmark is a perfect ring with a single brass dot at center: a driver seen straight on. It marks the earcups, it IS the face of the earbud, and it closes the launch film.

The campaign is a journey with two ends. An artist hears her final master alone at night and hits send; the film follows the mix across the world into a stranger’s first listen on a dawn train. Your mix. Heard everywhere. Lost nowhere. Concept, identity, product design, packaging, key visuals, out-of-home, social system, and launch page, with the film boarded and in production.

My role. The whole stack is my work: I named the products, designed the driver-O identity and wrote its rules, art directed the industrial design language and the macro product renders, built the packaging, boarded and timed the launch film, keyframed the logo sting in After Effects, and designed every campaign surface from the subway platform to the launch page.

Art direction, end to end

From listening room to launch film

How ODE came together: the listening-room mood first, the identity chased through R&D, the rules documented, then the film boarded and cut to a reference track.

Research & direction

Studio heritage, home comfort

The board mixed studio monitors and mid-century listening rooms: walnut, brass, wool, dusk light. ODE had to feel like equipment a mastering engineer would respect and a living room would welcome.

Identity R&D

Chasing the driver O

I drew my way to the driver O through ten candidate marks: rings, cones, waveforms, monograms. The winner is a perfect ring with one brass decibel notch, the speaker cone turned into a letterform.

One & Go, beat by beat

The launch film boarded: the driver O in macro, the One rising into light, the Go opening on its hinge, the last inch of the mix arriving. Product and room trading beats.

Cut to the reference mix

Boards timed against a reference track in Coveboard. An audio brand earns trust through rhythm, so every cut lands inside the music.

Two products, one signal path

ODE One is the reference over-ear where a mix gets made and trusted. ODE Go is the stemless earbud where it actually gets heard, its face a machined ring with a brass center dot: the logo as hardware. Studio heritage design language: aluminum yokes, espresso leather, acoustic mesh.

The craft, up close

Engineered silence, told through texture: the mesh, the leather, the hinge, the driver face. These macros become the animated eye candy of the launch film.

Motion

The sting

The logo animation, built as a keyframed After Effects rig: the driver-O scales in, the brass decibel pops, the line lands.

Campaign

Both ends of the journey

The campaign line is the brand architecture in nine words. Your mix. Heard everywhere. Lost nowhere. One end of the journey is her studio at 3 AM; the other is his train at dawn. The placements live where listening happens: platforms, streets, feeds.
